Limited gatherings: how many?

Since July 11, gatherings are no longer limited to 10 people. However, the new Prime Minister reserves the right to restrict or prohibit certain gatherings by decree, at the local level,  if the health situation were to deteriorate.  It would, therefore, seem that at the end of the town hall ceremony, remaining limited to 30 people, the newlyweds can invite a larger number of guests to their wedding party if it takes place in a private room, a restaurant or a house. However, no directive seems to have been given to town halls for the moment concerning a possible enlargement of the number of guests. Thus, at the town hall of Cannes for example, we will continue to limit ourselves to 30 guests as long as the prosecution or the prefect has not given new directives. 

Wearing a compulsory mask at the town hall and in places of worship

Since July 20, wearing a mask is mandatory in all "closed public places". This new obligation obviously concerns town halls and all places of worship but also restaurants, floating establishments, marquees, tents and structures, rooms.

Can we get married at the town hall, in private, in a hall?

Wearing a mask is compulsory in establishments authorized to welcome the public.

Finally, the bride and groom who wish can obviously choose to organize a wedding meal in a restaurant.  It is up to everyone to be responsible, therefore, to avoid the risk of the virus spreading.

 

Can we get married in the halls...?
